Job Title: Director, Digital Media

Position Summary
· The Director, Digital Media identifies and manages opportunities for monetizing
NBA content and brand across the spectrum of digital opportunities, and will have
particular focus on mobile platforms (mobile applications and mobile video) and
online gaming. The position will work with the appropriate stakeholders (internal
and external) to develop, launch and manage these initiatives. The role
encompasses ownership of the full life cycle for the products, from strategy
formulation to launch to product enhancements。
Major Responsibilities:
· Develop new business opportunities across mobile, online gaming, and other
emerging media platforms。
· Understand marketplace trends, current and new technologies and competitive
forces, and assess their impact on our business。
· Seize mobile and online gaming opportunities and develop strategies that will
maximize revenues and exposure for the NBA in China。
· Directly support negotiations and execution of new partnership agreements。
· Work closely with internal (headquarters and China) and external (vendors and
partners) constituents to formulate product ideas and rollout plans。
· Oversee product development, including product/technical specs。
· Manage full life cycle of products, from planning to launch to maturity。
Establish clear and meaningful targets for growth and manage towards those
goals。
Required Skills/Knowledge:
· Proven track record of developing, managing, and growing digital businesses,
with a particular focus on mobile and online gaming。
· Possess strong relationships with key players along the digital media value chain。
